Any better cures for extreme social anxiety?

Best cure in my opinion is to go out and do something rather than just medication. No matter how small, just take things one step at a time. Do things you are uncomfortable with and do them until you are fairly comfortable and then more on to something that makes you feel that bit more anxious. If you really need medication continue with what you already have been given by the doctor and, along with doing the steps, hopefully you'll learn to control it and feel better about doing things.
