Ok. i'm a puck collector and have one i'm trying to identify?

it's from west virginia univeristy, says west virginia univeristy hockey team ice mounties. can't find any info about it anywhere. does the team still exist? do they play in a league? is it a club sport? is this a fake? (already contacted the university and am awaiting a reply--been 2 weeks). any information would be greatly appreciated. thanks.
