I have an Federal Tax Question?

I am filing my Federal Income Tax for 2008 and I am filing jointly with my wife. She does not work and receives Social Security. Will I need to put that information in my Tax forms before I send it into the IRS? The Software TurboTax did ask if my wife and I received SSI, my wife did so will I need that information before I can complete my Tax Returns? They also mentioned a form that Social Security is suppose to send you at the end of the year to show how much benefit you recieved for the year but so far I've seen nothing. Should I go on ahead and just file my taxes?
