My weil-mclain oil-fired boiler will stop igniting . it has been a problem for a while.?

it will run all day then it will not fire back up. i have to go out and thr reset on and it fires up evey time. but the last 2 times there has been like a back fire noise coming out the stack. thats when i no that the the boiler wont ignite
